STC provides lighting power systems to Chandler, AZ

TEMPE, AZ - 05/06/2013 - Solar Traffic Controls recently furnished solar-powered trail lighting systems for Paseo Trail in Chandler, AZ.

The systems feature a 170-watt solar array consisting of two KC85 solar modules in parallel. The system uses an integrated charge/load control unit capable of running the lighting functions and is backed up with a 3-battery bank. The units were installed on 5x5-inch square steel poles and equipped with Kim Lighting Warp-9 DC lamp fixtures. B & F Construction assembled and installed the equipment for the project.
