Scottsdale, AZ replaces school flasher timers with STC-01 time clocks

TEMPE, AZ - 08/27/2007 - Scottsdale, AZ has selected the STC-01 as the clock of choice for its solar-powered school flashers which have been installed throughout the city.

In preparation for the new school year, the city discovered that one of its school clocks was inoperable. Solar Traffic Controls (STC) personnel replaced it with an STC-01 as it was more affordable than other options and quick to obtain. In reviewing their situation and the age of the existing school clocks, the city decided to replace all of its clocks with STC-01 time clocks. Significant in the decision was the price factor, local support, and the memory chip option for moving programs. STC furnished all the units with a harness to mate with the existing clock harnesses, thereby decreasing any effort to change the clocks.
