Living the American dream of higher learning
TEMPE, AZ - 01/04/2012 - Solar Traffic Controls employee, George Salloum, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University in
December 2011. Working as an assembly technician, George has been a
part-time employee for several years, going to nearby ASU located about two
miles from the office.
This achievement is significant for George's family as they had immigrated
to the United States from Lebanon in late 1999 seeking a better life. George
is the first in his family to graduate from an American university and will
be leaving STC to pursue work specific to his degree field. His skills and
sense of humor will be missed. We wish him the best in his endeavors.

graduation ceremony.
STC believes strongly in hiring engineering students to help them learn the
working skills to further their careers. Many former employees have gone on
to work in their engineering specialties and have done well.
