Dixon joins Solar Traffic Controls
TEMPE, AZ - 05/05/2011 - Jimmie Dixon has joined STC as an applications
engineer after a 24-year career with the City of Glendale, Arizona, in
traffic signal electronics and as Superintendent of Traffic Operations
before retiring in June, 2010.
Dixon started his career aboard a U.S. Navy nuclear-powered, fast attack
submarine as an electronics technician and attended several Navy schools. He
was responsible for the maintenance and repair of submarine navigation and
communication systems.
He received his AA degree in Electronics from DeVry Institute of Technology
and was a senior electronics technician on the Apache project from 1983 to
1986 for the Motorola Government Electronics Group.
Dixon earned a BA in Business Management and an MA in Organizational
Management from the University of Phoenix, in 1995 and 1997 respectively.
He is a life-long resident of Arizona and enjoys hunting fishing and all
that Arizona has to offer. |
